Be like the flowing river, Silent in the night. Be not afraid of the dark. If there are stars in the sky, reflect them back. If there are clouds in the sky, Remember, clouds, like the river, are water, So, gladly reflect them too, In your own tranquil depths. Manuel Bandeira Sort of What I really did, when I saw what I never wanted to see. Just, no hat. Dear close friend, I really haven't been in the least unhappy about you sharing your problems with me, but a habit has started to grow in me. I just hope you know and understand that I wasn't avoiding you. I tend to ignore everything that's happening. I hate lazing there and doing nothing to stop all that ridiculous pain growing inside me. I would rather do loads and loads of things, busy my mind with unnecessary stuff, blur you away from my tracks of attention, mute everything that brings my m...

I have finished Like the Flowing River by Paulo Coelho. I will have to return it in the end, but I really need reference sometimes, so I will just link it here, so as to maintain the copyrights of the author himself. 1. The Story of a Pencil 2. Excerpt of The Art of Withdrawal " We see the evil in others because we know the evil in ourselves. We never forgive those who wound us because we believe that we would never be forgiven. We say the painful truth to others because we want to hide it from ourselves. We show our strength, so that no one can see our frailty. That is why, whenever you judge your brother, be aware that it is you who is in the dock." Okakura Kakuzo 3. Excerpt of Remaining Open to Love A rose dreamed day and night about bees, but no been ever landed on her petals. The flower, however, continued to dream. During the long nights, she imagined a heaven full of bees, which flew down to bestow fond kisses on...

My holidays are still quite boring. It doesn't have a routine. No plan. No schedule, no nothing. I was practically lying around on the floor or sofa. Sometimes, if I have the mood, I will only breeze through some school stuff. I borrowed 2 books from the Kulim Library. Like The Flowing River by Paulo Coelho, one of my favourite, as usual. The other The Speech of Angels by Sharon Maas. It's quite new to me. I started the epilogue, and it didn't make me feel like putting in down just yet. The one by Paulo Coelho , this time was new in terms of what he is trying to share, it's all his thoughts and reflection, so the index is quite long as there are many stories. The beginning was extremely startling as he learned about being a writer in the 1960's A writer always wears glasses and never combs his hair. Some of them actually made it into my life dictionary, for example A writer has a duty and an obligation never to be understood by his ow...

It;s been 5 days since I got my result. Dad had had a dilemma on giving me a notebook. So I didn't say much about it, just annoyed. I went to Penang yesterday, the first stop was at my uncle's house. Stephen had finish his SPM, and now, there were 4 loads of books waiting for me in his study room for me to choose, so I grabbed what i wanted and ended with a basket of books. All of them had congratulated me for my great results. I went to my grandmother-in-law's house. She asked me about my results and kept asking me what did my dad give me. I was abit surprise actually, but i didn't answer her. Then i went in to her room, and she gave me 100 bucks. He told me that my cousin, the one who was born on the same day with me, had get herself a Samsung Galaxy phone about 2000bucks, and a notebook, and she wasn't happy with my grandmother for giving her only 100bucks. Her own relatives gave her 1000bucks. No wonder, and that had answered my questions of why my grandmother w...

I got this in my mind since I read Pg 235 of Forever: As if you couldn't kiss after having Pizza. LOL!! Ok, maybe I was weird to have focus on that point. Forever was the best among the Trilogy, though there would be more Cole and Isabel in it. But it's funnier. Sam and Grace were just damn sweet and I just couldn't think what would ever separate them, but it's just a story. And, Rachel, gosh, of all the ridiculous things she could have thought of, she thinks Grace is Pregnant. ==! And guess what? Cole and Isabel together. J Maybe both of them would work out; one was Science-minded, and the other, Stubborn-minded. So 2 is better than 1. Again, I like Sam. Still the same dependable and sturdy guy that I like. Grace is just so lucky. Can't write much. I love it, and if you read it, you might agree with me. Jot: I AM SO NOT GIVING MY NUMBER TO HIM. NO NEGOTIATIONS.

The countdown gadget on my desktop is showing "5 DAYS until TRIAL", I couldn't seem to ignore it. The red words on it will always tick me off to my room and make me slap my textbook and shake my head. Please, it's not just shaking, It's my act of trying to get those drama things out of my head before I read.( As outside the room, there are a few guys there watching Drama though they keep asking me to anti - it.) Choir session ended. Not much of staying back anymore. I will miss it. But the Choir Gathering, I was totally dissapointed that it only ended up with the few of us. But, at least LongBan brought Joker there. Nice Game though . " Miss...! Faster!" AHAHA! Night Class has ended for July, so I won't be able to carry out my "peaking" for the time being. T.T. And Hari Sukan, Gosh, I MISS THAT DAY SO MUCH! I don't really have to write it all here, just ask some of my classmates, they will tell you what sort of hystericalness I ended u...

Finished reading Searching For David's Heart by Cherie Bennett. Ok , I admit I cried. T_T But of course I ain't that stupid to cry in front of my parents, my brother, and my cousins( they came back by the way…). All I did was bit my lip to control the tears and just brushed my cheeks against the sofa. ( that sounds like…==) David seem's kind of cool, but I prefer Sam ( The Great Samdini )He seems logical and pratical in any way, an eligible guy you can depend on. But there's something wrong about that story, it's suppose to be a christmas story, but a tragic accident was planted in it. Darce seem abit too emotional like me. Just that it seems obvious enough that one would feel insane to lose your soul mate. I wished it hadn't end in tragic, but isn't that part that made this book into a book? A :" When person A loves person B, person A gets upset at the thought of never seeing person B again." B :"It's better that way, because person B do...

Having typing the post about Emma before this, I am still keen to talk about it. I am aware that not many people will understand what's the main message, you might try googling it, wikipedia, but I can assure you that only by reading the whole book, will you then be able to truly and perfectly understand about Emma. Summary Although convinced that she herself will never marry, Emma Woodhouse, a precocious twenty-year-old resident of the village of Highbury, imagines herself to be naturally gifted in conjuring love matches. After self-declared success at matchmaking between her governess and Mr. Weston, a village widower, Emma takes it upon herself to find an eligible match for her new friend, Harriet Smith. Though Harriet's parentage is unknown, Emma is convinced that Harriet deserves to be a gentleman's wife and sets her friend's sights on Mr. Elton, the village vicar. Meanwhile, Emma persuades Harriet to reject the proposal of Robert Martin, a well-to-do farmer ...

Emma continued to entertain no doubt of her being in love. Her ideas only varied as to the how much. At first she thought it was a good deal; and afterwards but little. She had great pleasure in hearing Frank Churchill talked of; and for his sake, greater pleasure than ever in seeing Mr and Mrs Weston; she was very often thinking of him, quite impatient for a letter, that she might know how he was, how were his spirits, how was his aunt, and what was the chance of his coming to Randalls again this spring. But, on the other hand, she could not admit herself to be unhappy, nor, after the first morning, to be less disposed for employment than usual; she was still busy and cheerful ; and, pleasing as he was, she could yet imagine him to have faults; and further, though thinking of him so much, and, as she sat drawing or working, forming a thousand amusing schemes for the progress and close of their attachment, fancying interesting dialogues, and inventing dialogues, and inventing elegan...
